^Lot 1420 RARE GERMAN WWI, "1917" DATE P.04 NAVY LUGER

HOLSTER. Original second pattern black leather P.04 Navy Luger holster mfg. in 1917 by Maury & Co. Interior of closure flap is marked with a Crown/M naval acceptance proof as well as with a partially discernible "MAURY & CO/ G.M.B.H./ OFFENBACH". Holster is complete with cleaning rod. Loading tool is absent. CONDITION: holster has stiffened, exhibiting varying degrees of age related cracking and some spots / patches of crazing overall. Closure flap appears to have torn and been repaired via adhesive at one time. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of John Eckert. (02-26540-10/MLW). NON-GUN. $250-500.
